Kombucha BBQ Tofu Sliders


  • 1 block extra firm tofu, pressed and drained
  • 1/4 cup kombucha
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slider buns

Your favorite toppings, such as shredded lettuce, tomato, pickles, and avocado


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the kombucha, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cut the tofu into 12 equal pieces.
  • Dip the tofu pieces in the kombucha mixture, then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tofu is cooked through and slightly crispy.
  • Serve the tofu sliders on buns with your favorite toppings.


  • For a more intense kombucha flavor, use a flavored kombucha.
  • If you don't have kombucha, you can substitute apple cider vinegar or white wine vinegar.
  • You can also add other spices to the kombucha mixture, such as chili powder, cayenne pepper, or ginger.
  • Serve the sliders with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing.
